As Berliners discovered this excellent sushi restaurant long-ago, reservations are recommended, particularly as Sasaya is only open Thursday-Monday. Lunches (especially Sunday) are the best.

Sgamineegg has been a favorite amongst the locals and scenesters of Prenzlauer Berg’s Arminplatz since opening in 2008 due to its tranquil atmosphere and southern German variety of Gastfreundlichkeit. Their lunch menu is small, but as it changes everyday, repeat visits are a must if you’re looking for a quiet place to relax off of Schönhauser Allee.
