To be frank it's a little hard to know whether my joy at seeing Max colored my impressions of Muret la barba, but never mind, we spent a splendid evening picking at delicious asparagus, cheeses and meats while talking about everything and nothing (which subjects included airports, Hong Kong and mutual friends). I couldn't help but admire the hard-as-nails wine menu (the sentence reads "Our shelves are our wine list").
