Ceramic shards

Windchimesceramicshardspotterackerstrasseja

And for the first time in a long time I was compelled to throw open the windows. These pottery shards -- chosen out of a basket from my beloved Jutta Altenstein's Ackerstraße workshop -- fluttered in the gust of wind.

Beautiful, maybe even more beautiful than had they been in one piece.

Hope you are well, L. five months yesterday, hope S. is doing well as are you?

Thinking of you fondly,

I'd just like to point out, for the record, that the shards were artfully tied to a piece of driftwood (unseen) by a certain Mr Reified. In case you were wondering.

Well done, Mr. Reified, artful indeed!

Jo
