This morning

I woke with a craving for biscuits.


These look delicious Sylee. What kind are they? Have a great weekend.

They're Deborah Madison's buttermilk biscuits. Rich and not too rich, and perfect with Sgaminegg's jam.

they look amazing. are they similar in taste to scones?

Kristina, they're crisp where scones are crumbly; a little salty to scones' sweet; but they offer exactly that same floury density that seems to soak up everything (jam, confusion). I'll make them for you when we next meet.

yesterday was my last day of school. i will have so much time now! would love to meet up soon.
