Weekend in brief (I)

Art books (and legs) at the Miss Read book fair.

Fresh savory Indian semolina courtesy of my mum.

Acorns gathered at Volkspark Wilmersdorf.

What is Indian semolina? I haven't been to the Volkspark yet, but I have wanted to go since I read your post on elderflower gathering.

Hannah, it's more accurately called upma: semolina tossed with a spicy mixture of tomatoes, onions, peas, mustard seeds, green chilis and more. Delicious!

How long is your mom in town for? Will I get to sample some treats?

the upma looks delicious! and the acorns so golden...
